What is the Women's Fund?

Mission of the Women's Fund

The Women’s Fund of Central Illinois shapes the future for women through their talents, resources, and leadership.

The primary purpose of the Women's Fund is to support programs that address the needs and goals of women and girls in the Central Illinois area. The all-female Advisory Board, comprised of corporate and community leaders, distributes income generated by our endowment to a wide variety of local women’s programs that need it most. From healthcare to housing, education to job training, abuse prevention to assistance for single mothers, the Women’s Fund helps the causes that are important to you.

The goal of the Women’s Fund is to have 1,000 women each donate $1,000 to create a $1,000,000 endowment. Gifts help the Women’s Fund continue its crucial work in Central Illinois not just today, but in the future, as well. Contributing to the Women’s Fund means more than a one-time gift.
