Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is a group of dedicated individuals who recognize the potential of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois and want to support our mission to enhance the quality of life in central Illinois.

The role of the Legacy Society is also to broaden public awareness and understanding of the Foundation through the sharing of ideas and information with other Legacy Society members, foundation donors, board members and staff.

You are already eligible for membership in the Legacy Society if you have made an outright gift of $5000 or more to the Community Foundation, or if you have made arrangements in your will, or through some other form of deferred giving, for a gift to the Foundation. Deferred gifts may take the form of bequests, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance or other types of charitable planned gifts.

We will be happy to work with you and your advisor to tailor a planned gift that best meets your personal situation. Such gifts may be unrestricted in use, support a particular area of interest such as senior issues, health or the arts, be added to your donor advised fund, or designated in another way you specify.
