
The Community Foundation of Central Illinois is proud to partner with the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, to administer a regranting program for Peoria and Tazewell counties. The purpose of this funding is to provide quality, accessible arts programming and to provide support and development of Illinois artists, arts organizations, educational institutions and communities.
The Community Foundation of Central Illinois is pleased to announce that $6875.00 in 2010 Illinois Arts Council Community Arts Access funding has been awarded to the following organizations:
Community Builders Foundation: Trewyn MS After School & Weekend Arts Program funded at $1250.00
YWCA Adult Literacy: YWCA Adult Literacy: “Lincoln Tales Tall and True” funded at $1000.00
Peoria County Regional Office of Education: Arts in Education Spring Celebration funded at $812.00
Peoria Ballet Company: Peoria Ballet and CIYS Collaboration funded at $812.00
Peoria Area Civic Chorale: Vocal Clinic and Instruction at Summer Camp funded at $500.00
Children’s Home Association of Illinois: Art on the Prairie funded at $775.00
Central Illinois Youth Symphony: CIYS and Peoria Ballet Collaboration funded at $812.00
Neighborhood House Child Care Center: “In the Art of the Neighborhood Night” funded at $355.00
Sun Foundation’s Suzuki School of Music: Community Twinkle Performances funded at $559.00
